What is NFC?
NFC stands for Near Field Communication. It's the same short-range wireless technology that powers tap-to-pay. A small NFC chip can store a piece of information, like a web link. When a compatible smartphone is held close to the chip, the phone reads it and opens that link. No app download, no typing, no searching.
How does an NFC keychain work?
With the NFC upgrade, a small chip is built into your custom PVC keychain. To use it, someone simply holds their phone near the keychain. On compatible phones with NFC turned on, a notification pops up and opens the link stored on the chip. The chip doesn't need batteries or charging, so your keychain stays light and easy to carry.
Which phones work with NFC?
Most modern smartphones support NFC, including many recent iPhone and Android models. On some Android phones, NFC needs to be switched on in settings. The best spot to tap varies by phone, usually near the top of the back on iPhones and around the middle of the back on many Android devices. Thick phone cases can occasionally make reading a little harder, so if a tap doesn't work at first, try moving the keychain around slightly.

Our designers will email you a free digital mockup, typically within 24-48 hours, and you can request free revisions. Production takes about 5-7 business days after you approve your mockup, followed by tracked shipping.
